• Suitable for solid-liquid separation of feces and water in large and medium-sized aquaculture farms.

Disadvantages:

• High equipment costs, multiple moving parts, and high maintenance volume.
• High pressure water spraying is required to wash the filter belt, which increases the load of the water treatment system due to the large amount of water.

Centrifuge

Advantages:

• The equipment occupies a small area.
• Fast separation speed and high separation efficiency.
• High total solid removal rate and low water content of filter residue.
• Suitable for solid-liquid separation of feces and water in large aquaculture farms.

Disadvantages:

• High equipment investment, high energy consumption, and difficult maintenance.
• Someone must be present during operation and the labor intensity of the operators is high.

Inclined plate screen extruder

Advantages:

• Maximum processing power.
• Low cost, low operating expenses, simple structure, and convenient maintenance.
